With a new child in the home, it can be difficult to organize all the gear that comes with the new baby! New moms have a nesting instinct that can go into overdrive before the birth of the baby but when the baby is born, all bets are off! It can be difficult to keep all of the bottles, the baby gear and the clothing organized while you are trying to get your sleep and adjust to life with the new baby.

Clear a Space for Bottles and Formula
Clearing a space for bottles and formula in the cupboard, or clearing a space or storage drawer in the freezer for the storage of breast milk can help to declutter the spaces and leave the counters free from the endless array of bottles that seem to end up all over the place.
Keep Baby Gear In A Specific Area
The baby has a nursery for a reason. It is optimal to keep baby items in the nursery to ensure that the house remains organized, despite the influx of baby gear that has come into your recent possession. The nursery is a great way to turn the nursery into a catch all for the baby items that are in the home.
Take Advantage of Baskets
Baskets are great and can hold everything from tiny baby shoes to towels and face cloths that are used to bathe the baby. These are an effective way to take advantage of one of the most effective ways of organization and group like things together, this way; these items can be found with ease and can ensure that the items are not lost in the shuffle of all of the items that come with a new baby.
Organize Baby Clothes Together
Use drawers, baskets and closet organizers to organize the baby clothes by grouping like things together as this can help to organize all of the clothes that are required for the baby. Grouping items of clothing together and arranging by item and by size will offer the best results and use drawer organizers to make the most of storing these small items. Baby clothes are so small that you may be tempted to toss them into a drawer or basket and be done with this, but when trying to find a specific item, this can make it difficult. Fold or roll the items to ensure that you are making the most of small spaces.
Have a drawer or area in each room of the house to accommodate baby items. When this drawer becomes full it is time to empty the drawer and put it back where it belongs, in the nursery.
