It can be hard for many individuals to reduce clutter in their home. After all, they have earned everything they own, right? But when the accumulation of items and objects in your household begin to affect your everyday life it can get to a point where you have to make a commitment to cut the clutter. A great way to reduce the clutter in your home is to organize your home in a more orderly fashion. This is a great way for individuals to prioritize everything they own and start the long process of deciding what they need, what they don’t, and figuring out how they acquired so much clutter along the way.

· Categorize Your Cupboards and Pantries: Many people who accumulate a lot of clutter have random objects thrown into their drawers, cupboards, and pantries. Try sorting these objects into groups and assigning related objects a place in your home. This will also help you find objects when you need them, and allow you to live a more efficient life.

· Use Organizing Tools Available To You: If you take a trip to your local Wal-Mart there are many different organizing tools available to you. The tools come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and include tubs and sorters. Try to find storage containers that are specifically built for the objects that you have obtained in great number. This can also help you decide which items to throw away. Using your organizing utensils, you will be able to designate a limited amount of space for different items. Try to prioritize these items, and get rid of the items that will not fit.

· Prioritize: This is the most important step in eliminating clutter. It is important that you are able to tell the difference between what you need and what you do not need. This is the first step toward having a clutter-free house. Whenever you pick up an item, ask yourself when the last time you used it was, and then try to decide if you think you will ever have a need for it again, and if that need arises will you put this item to use? That will guide you on where the item truly belongs.

Eliminating clutter is quite simple once you understand the fundamentals of how to do it. When you see your house transform into an organized living space, cutting the clutter becomes easier and easier. Try using some of these tips and make your home a clutter-free one!
