Always leave room for more. When organizing a space, it is important to leave room for items that can be placed in the space later. For this reason, experts recommend avoiding filling the space to more than 85% capacity, as items can be added as necessary. If you over-fill the space, you could leave yourself looking at a mess in the future.
Organize the Space in a manner that makes sense and is accessible, as well as easy to maintain. Organizing a space that makes sense for your lifestyle should be determined by how often you are going to use the space and what the space is going to be used for. Think about the immediate future needs of the space, will more space be required? Are you willing to part with any of the items that are being stored in the space?
